Mikel's Tuf Floors did a stellar job on our hardwood floor installation. We are very pleased with the quality of work and level of commitment they showed.
We knew nothing about hardwood flooring when we first visited Lumber Liquidators in San Diego. We had a lot of questions about hardwood flooring. Luckily for us, Rachel (a representative of Mikel's Tuf Floors) was there to answer our questions, educate us about hardwoods, and set up a free estimate.
When we met with Mikel, we were immediately impressed. We could tell we found a flooring contractor with integrity.
He spent a great deal of time discussing the installation process and giving us information on how to care for hardwoods, caveats, etc. It is clear that he is passionate about the business.
Mikel assured us that the job would be done right and to our satisfaction. We had concerns about the transition between our tile and the new hardwood because one of our family members has a movement disorder and is easily tripped. He told us that he does not install speed bumps in peoples' houses and he made good on that promise.
The installation was done cleanly. When the crew left, we were able to walk on the floors right away.
We are very happy with the results and would not hesitate to use Mikel's Tuf Floors again.
