Review content:
We drove out to Natick from Boston w/ skepticisms initially, but the hour ride (+ $2/trip for Mass Pike) was definitely worth it! The food was just unbelievably delicious! We ordered monthly special appetizers (fushion), and two entrees, the beef houbayaki+gindara-yuuan-yaki(marinated silver cod)! The beef is quite good, though it's not the best Japanese beef dish. But you MUST try the cod! It's buttersoft w/ light soybean-saki taste. The portion is quite generous (they also give you some small sidedishes) so we hardly had room for dessert. The only imperfection is the taste of miso soup(quite mediocre) and quality of rice(not soft and fluffy like I'd expect in a high end Japanese restaurant). We spent $75 for 2(appetizers+entrees+desserts) so I think it's more like a $$$. The interior has a new age Zen feel, a big contrast from its unappealing exterior. They also have party rooms for special occasions.
Pros: delicate food, ambience, parking
Cons: far from downtown
