I feel the need to respond for the simple reason that you refrence "owner" in your review. I have no choice but to respond and thanks to a loyal customer I have the opportunity. I have been in business 4 years- very successfully I might add. In this economy that speaks for itself. I feel very sad for you that you have nothing better to do than try and ruin someones reputation with your lies. You dont have to like my bakery-it may not suit everyone but to slander is another story. You must be a very lonely, misrable person to try and hurt someone with your lies. Please allow me to state some facts. I as well as my staff are probobly far more honest with our customers than we need to be. I make a HUGE percentage of the items I sell. Some however are in fact not mine- They are supplied from outside vendors- I always am willing to share with my customers that information- and for your information, you are obviously not very in-tune with how the food industry works because if you were, you would be aware of the fact that MOST restaurants, bakeries, large chains (like Adams, Hanafords) DO NOT MAKE everything that they lead you to believe they do. Thats a whole other conversation and I would be more than happy to educate you. Stop by anytime Wed, Thurs or Friday- I am usually here. As far as the frozen comment- again, clearly you have no idea how things work. I could NEVER make everything everyday!!!! I couldn't afford the labor or the facility to do that- Heres an example- when we mke our cookies- we make them in BULK. They are THEN frozen and taken out as needed. There is NO OTHER economical way to do it- if you know one....again stop by and feel free to educate me. 90% of what I sell is baked here. 75% is all from scratch. If you still want to challenge me on that again- stop by and a tour could be in your future. As far as the "partially eaten" product I tried selling you- in todays world we call that- selling by the slice. We offer a variety of items that we do in fact sell by the slice. Not everyone needs or can afford a whole cake or whatever the reason they just want a slice. Its not a new concept. Lastly, you refrence that you bought many products from me before you found out about the "ruse"...... well what can I say? If I understand you correctly, you are saying you gave up one of your favorite places because of a conspiracy? Ok. Sorry that you are missing out on something you loved then. You know the world would be a much nicer place if people were kind to eachother. For you to come on here and lie and slander my business that I work so hard at is really difficult for me to comprehend. I dont live my life like that. If you dont like my bakery, then say it but please dont lie and make things up. It really just hurts others and makes you look ignorant. I sincerely wish you the best and hope life gets happier for you- because after all its too short not to enjoy it. -Stacey Hillman
