Yesterday afternoon I broke a crown and was in pain all night and unable to tolerate any hot or cold drinks and unable to chew. I called Elite Smiles this morning and even though they were booked they made room for me immediately. They ground off the surfaces and made a new crown while I was there. Because it was a molar they heat treated it which took about 30 minutes extra. Thanks to them I was able to eat lunch and back to normal except except for the numbness which took a while to wear off. This is not my first experience with Dr. Freeman since it was only two months ago that the rear molar on my left side had a cavity in the rear below the gum line that was only visible on X-ray. I thought I was going to have to have a root canal or have the tooth pulled but Dr Freeman made a special crown that would fit in the area that was removed and save the tooth and or a lot of $$$ for a root canal. Because Dr Freeman has reasonable prices and takes insurance I am going to have all of my old silver fillings removed and ... and was in pain all night and unable to tolerate any hot or cold drinks and unable to chew.
