I gave them one star because that is the minimum rating.
I would not sure Thompson's Waterproofing for a number of reasons. Firstly they cancelled appointments the night before on two occasions. The day they did install the system they were two hours late, and two guys short. I was told it would be a one day job, but it turned out to be a two day job. With that said the workers arrived at 10:30 AM and left at 3:00 PM. It is no wonder it took them two days. The second day, they showed up late again and installed a very sloppy system.
The concrete was not level; material used around the perimeter was falling apart. Overall, it was a very poor install. Now, had I spent a few hundred dollars on system, I would have had little complaints. However due to the fact that this was a very expensive system, i would have expected better quality.
I called Thompson's the next day to get them to come out and repair the areas. Two weeks later, they came out. This time the installer informed me that he wouldn’t be surprised if we had water come into the basement as it was not installed deep enough. I called Thompson's to inform them of this fact...I have yet to hear back from them and it has been over a month.
In the end, I would absolutely, without any reservations, AVOID this company. They are not professional and the quality of work is terrible.
