Review content:
Good: At first they seemed like a great fit for my two cats and for me.. Bad: About a week or so before my ten-yr. old cats went in to each have one or two teeth removed they received physicals that they said were "excellent" -- their bloodwork, their organs, etc.. On June 2, 2011, I tool them in at 8am to drop them off for the day for surgery, At 7pm that night as I was just getting ready to pick them up -- something that of course I was so looking forward to, I got the call from Dr. Ammaral "I have very bad news." My male cat, Halford, had died on the table.. Improvements: Other vets have told me what I already knew: they had given him too much anesthesia. Hal WAS NEVER SICK ONE DAY OF HIS LIFE FOR THE TEN YEARS I HAD HIM.. Other: I was in such shock when I went to pick up Sunny and Hal's body (which I kept overnight in a box of ice to bury the next day at my parents' house) that I paid them in full -- I was such a mess -- they shouldn't even have presented me with a bill at that time. My advice is: STAY AWAY from Whippany Vet..
