The East Palatka Fruit Market has been on Highway 17 forever...It's old ..a bit dark...and not what it was at one time.
The selection that used to make it worth the stop just isn't there any longer if you don't hit it at the right time.
Depending on what crops are currently being harvested in nearby Hastings, FL, you may not see anything you want to take home with you.
They used to be a fun place to stop and colorful. I've noticed that they no longer repaint annually based on the winner of the interstate rivalry Gator-Nole game.
Too bad...every little change...detracts a bit more charm.
