The Sacramento Poetry Center is an amazing resource. The variety and regularity of offered programs ensure that every type of poet can find what they are looking for. SPC creates a unique space in which both accomplished, refined poets, and younger, inexperienced writers can feel comfortable sharing a stage. If you are a poet, or even just a poetry lover, and you live anywhere near Sacramento, you should definitely take advantage of the SPC.
