Review content:
We attended the 10pm new years eve show (12/31/07). Tickets were pricey at $53ea, but being a holiday, one expects to pay a premium. One also expects to get what they pay for.
Tickets supposedly were for a 10pm show that ran until midnight and included champagne and dessert. We arrived about 9:20 and proceeded to wait in 45 degree weather until nearly 10:30. The show didn't start until almost 11pm. Many patrons, ourselves included, never received the champagne toast or dessert, but that didn't stop the wait staff from harassing us about the 2 drink minimum. The club was over crowded with people squeezed in tightly. Even if you had wanted drinks, you'd have next to no shot of getting waited on unless you were seated on an aisle as we were.
The comedians were good, but overall we were extremely disappointed with the lack of organization and the fact that we did not receive what we paid for. Laughs Unlimited used to be a great place for comedy. Ownership changed a couple years ago and it's gone down hill since. We will not be back.
Pros: nice location in Old Town
Cons: terribly disorganized, bad service, didn't get what we paid for
