Review content:
We have done two Atlantis Cruises - the Mediterranean cruise in 2001 and the Mexican Riviera in 2004. We are going back for the Eastern Caribbean in March 2006. We LOVE Atlantis. Both cruises, while very different in nature, were an absolute blast. We have met people on both cruises that are still close friends. Each itenerary is different, and some are more destination-oriented. Of course if you do Europe and the Med, you'll want to see Rome, Barcelona, Greece and all the destinations. If you do Mexico - it's ALL ABOUT THE PARTY. The guests range in age from barely-legal to retirees. Singles, couples, women (a few), men. The clientele runs the spectrum. The entertainment is always fantastic - Margaret Cho, Pam Ann, Kathy Griffin and others.
In the past couple of years they've done a great job getting on some of the best ships in the cruise industry. We were aboard Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas last fall. It's a beautiful ship. The Crew LOVES the Atlantis cruises. We ended up making friends with several crew members with whom we still keep in touch.
For anyone contemplating a gay cruise, I highly recommend it. Even if you go alone, I guarantee if you're open to meeting people, you'll have a blast and come away with new friends.
