Businiess name:  Alaska Trailblazing Topsoil
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
The AK Trailblazing dirt processing plant on 120th in Anchorage has, in the 4 or so years they've been there, pushed the envelope repeatedly on noise and hours of operation. Though mostly staying within their zoning requirements, poorly maintained bulldozer operation creates a ruckus in what is mostly a suburban environment from the earliest to the latest possible hours, and on weekends. There runoff abatement to Furrow Creek is non-existent, including oily waste. They have trounced a long-standing neighborhood trail making foot traffic from Oceanview to Huffman next to impassable, though it was once bikable. Further they made a committment to the Midtown Park project for dirt, that they could not possibly have fulfilled, almost scuttling that 2001 civic project. Pros: apparently hardworkin Cons: bad neighbor, careless environmenta, poor on-site SWPP ski
