Review content:
The Parkview goes in and out of favor with my friends and I - mainly because the service can be spotty. This is the case during the busy weekend brunches. But if you have the time to spare and aren't too picky about getting everything at your table at the same time, definitely come for brunch. The kitchen staff is amazing, and I've not had one bad thing on the brunch menu. Of note are the frittatas and the hash.
The regular menu is also good - especially when the kitchen deigns to have a taco night. The cajun tuna tacos are amazing.
Plenty of beers to choose from, and a pretty good bloody mary on the brunch menu. An old school bowling machine off to one side too. Large screens for viewing games, a nice sized patio for good weather, and a piano that if you're lucky, an older gentleman might play for no apparent reason.
Keep in mind that this is a dive - mixed in among the "trendier" people seeking a new dining experience are the hardcore blue collar drinkers from the neighborhood at large.
Overlooks the shoreway, which makes for an interesting view.
