Probably Park Slope's most upscale general housewares store, Tarzian West packs an enormous amount of stuff into a very small, cramped space.
Many of the wares are of reasonably high quzlity and they're priced to reflect both that and their relative scarcity in the area. But if you need a Brita filter, a La Creuset skillet or an imported vegetable brush, this is probably your best bet. As long as you can get here during the rather limited hours.
