Review content:
I went to get a simple touch up on my highlights and trim. Simple, right? That's what I thought. The stylist who did my hair (wish I remembered her name) recommended that I do an all-over color on my roots and highlight up from there. I was skeptical, but agreed to let her do it. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional the entire time, using vulgar language and telling stories about how "ghetto" her hair school was (great...). When she took the color off it was ORANGE! I was super brassy and the color wasn't toned well at all. I was IMMEDIATELY upset. She said she couldn't highlight it because my hair was so damaged from the color, so she trimmed it, didn't dry it and sent me on my way. Needless to say, I cried the whole way home. The following morning when I straightened my hair I noticed the even more upsetting damage: She had cut straight layers in my hair so I had horizontal cut lines running through the whole thing!! I called corporate and demanded a refund, which they gave me (thank God), but were unable to refund the meager tip that I had left. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra time to Cheeky Strut in GR, Douglas J in Lansing/Okemos, or Vico 23 in Charlotte. This place is NOT worth the time, money or grief you will spend trying to fix your hair after they ruin it.
