Review content:
The Palmetto Islands County Park is in Mount Pleasant and a wonderful park for the entire family. In the summer months, it is the home to Splash Island which is one of the Charleston water parks. This alone makes the trip worthwhile. This water park is very friendly to very small children and not as "overwhelming" as some of the other water parks here. The park itself has wilderness trails and lots of room to play with big play areas. It's very inexpensive and a super place to go visit while you are at the beach that is not a "beach" activity. The kids will love it.
