Review content:
I have been going to Kinkead's with my family for as long as I can remember and it remains, to this day, as my favorite DC restaurant. Their seafood options, both appetizers and entrees, are always fresh, well prepared, and creative, and last night was no exception. To start we split mussels and two different salads, all of which were delicious. For dinner, I had the pan seared sea scallops plated with gnocchi, mushrooms, pearl onions, and a lemon-butter sauce. I literally wanted to lick the sauce off of the plane, it was incredible and not too thick or heavy as butter sauces sometimes are. And for desert a chocolate-espresso mousse with coffee anglaise that was to die for. I love how reliable Kinkead's is for both great food and service. I highly recommend it for any special occasion. And if you're into great seafood, you have to check it out! Pros: Amazing seafood, knowledgeable wait staff Cons: pricey (but toally worth it)
