Review content:
I wish I could rate this "repair inquiry" a ZERO. There are two phone numbers linked to Thermo Tite: one rings at "The Replacement Window Center." The "customer service" person at the other number that is listed for THERMO TITE said that they are now "First Choice," a new company, who acquired Thermo Tite. I live near Port Chester, NY, and offered to bring my one 18" x 27" upper window in for repair because the inner glass cracked. The gentleman said that they only do a field repair, that no depot repair exists, and that it woudl cost $150. That covers a trip for a technician to drive to my house to measure the glass, and another to repair it once the glass is "custom cut" (which takes two weeks!). Needless to say, I'll have it repaired locally for MUCH less than the $150 quoted from the shysters at "First Choice."
