Review content:
We were continually harrassed by Truegreen salesmen with hard-sell tactics and finally decided to give them a try. What a mistake! Our lawn has never looked as bad as it did when they were under contract.
They applied chemicals in ways that were clearly not consistent with product labeling. For example, strong winds and subsequent drift wouldn't stop them from making applications, at least in our case.
Our lawn had stripes in it from passes being made too wide and then they applied broadleaf weed killer in the rain! This resulted in the chemicals immediately being washed off the target plants and into the ground with no impact whatsoever being endured by the weeds.
They way they throw chemicals around they certainly are not a "green" company and now the salesmen will not stop calling us after we fired them for poor results. Of coruse, they are offerring 50% off the rate we formerly paid, which is another inidaction they are not a customer friendly organization, just one that overcharges in the first place.
Please don't make the same mistake we did and hire a local outfit, where management is involved in customer service.
