Review content:
Atmosphere was hokey, mixed lighting, plastic, movable salad bar (with wilted and brown greens no less) and vinyl booths.
Wine by the glass list was dismal. The house Chianti was poor to say the least I think it was one with the wicker basket which is known amongst wine drinkers to be the poorest of chiantis.
I had the "homemade" Gnocchi and soup. The large portion of Gnocchi was uniform and chewy, I doubt it was homemade. Sauce was quite acidic and reminded me of sauce you use on pizza. White bean soup was ok. Wondered about the bread, it looked hand made but I am not sure. The olive oil used for dipping was so bland that I swear it was a pure (Lower quality) rather than extra virgin, I recommend using the butter that was also supplied.
Service was good and prompt. I passed on dessert.
Pros: price, breadth of menu, portions
Cons: food quality, wine list
