This place will help you whether you are Catholic, or otherwise. If you are down on your luck, and can provide a social security card, proof of address for everyone in the household, and are without food or clothing this place will help you get back on your feet.
I love to donate items to Catholic Charites. Sometimes I don't bother with having a garage sale, or may not feel like bringing my garage sale items back into the house. Either way I will bag it up and drop it off at Catholic Charities and I know that my items will not go to waste. Catholic Charities are helping hundereds of people in the community. We are lucky to have such a place. Be sure to think of them if you are just going to throw out those unwanted items or clothing. People can really make use out of your unwanted items!
