My grandmother was on a limited income, and she was disabled. She was living independantly at a Senior citizen apartment complex. She had began to have problems with walking and moving around due to arthritus and other complications.
This place was so good to her. They found her a very inexpensive service to come in and clean her apartment for her once a week. It was so cheap, and pro rated according to her income. This was a life saver to her, absolutely GOD SENT. She was assigned to a caseworker who helped her through so many rough times.
This place really helped her to continue to live independantly. I want to personally thank Senior Services for taking the time to help the elderly, especially my grandmother who would not have lived as long if she could not have lived independantly on her owm. She would have been miserable.
This service also signed her up for Meals on Wheels which came and would give her a months supply of microwave dinners so she did not have to cook. Also gave her an alotment for a vegetable market so she was able to recieve fresh fruits and vegetables.
This service helped her to get some sort of bathroom chair to assist her in taking a bath. She had a hard time getting in and out of the shower and she was worried she would fall. This chair really helped her and she felt confident taking showers on her own.
Bless you all!!! Thank you for making the last years of my grandmothers life such a joy!! I can't say enough about this place!!!!!!!
