Review content:
Back in September of this year, my eldest son hurt his ankle while playing basketball at school. I was concerned by the way his ankle was swelling and becoming discolored so I made the phone call to bring him in to see Dr. Maislos. His staff got us an appointment right away and he was seen promptly. Dr. Maislos sent him for xrays and the xrays were non conclusive. He ordered a MRI to be done on his ankle to be sure that there was nothing that he was missing. In the meantime, Dr. Maislos gave us restrictions on activities and had him wear an imobilizer to stablize his foot until we could get the results back from the MRI. The results indicated that my son's ankle was in fact broken and he had a few tendons that were strained but, praise the Lord there was NO surgery needed. Thanks to the fast acting response from Dr. Maislos, my son healed properly and was treated in a timely manner. I will continue to come to Houston Foot & Ankle Care for all of my family's foot and ankle needs! They, Dr. Maislos and his staff, are the best in town!
