Review content:
I went in a while ago and tried to schedule a haircut. I was planning on walking in, checking out the vibe of the place, seeing if they had a moment for a walk-in, and, if not, scheduling an appointment. Unfortunately, I chose to go in on a day of the week when they simply "don't do haircuts", and was told so coldly by the girl working there - when she finally paid attention to me after almost five minutes. She didn't even say a polite "sorry!" or invite me to make an appointment on a different day. It was clear that I was inconveniencing her with my presence, and, after giving me five or six words, she simply walked off. Here's my problem with this: the hair industry is a luxury industry. As such, customer service is extremely important. It's easy for a stylist to gush over someone and their dog's health when they're paying $60 for a haircut and likely to give a good tip, but in my opinion these places show their true colors when they don't stand to gain any money. (Not that she didn't - if she'd treated me nicely I would have made an appointment and come back.) In my book, that's exactly what happened when I went to Glow.
