I was recently searching for a replacement for my former day spa. I wanted to take a friend for her first bikini wax and wanted to make sure she had a pleasant experience all-around. Lotus Day Spa was the last in my list of 5 to check out in the Ft Wayne area. I was pleasantly suprised. The Lotus Day Spa is located in a non-descript stipmall that overall isn't much to look at from the road. You wouldn't think much of it at this point, but I was pleasantly suprised after visiting. I was immediatedly greeted by the owner and all of my questions/concerns were addressed promptly and professionally. She has over 9 years of experience and this was the most important on my list. I was not met by a bubble-gum chewing receptionist who could not hear me over the pop radio station blarring in the background. What a relief, as the other 4 Spas I checked out all had this problem! You can expect professional service at this spa. I set our dates and returned 2 weeks later for our appointments. She remembered by name and was ready on-time. My friend was very happy with her wax experience and stated that she is done shaving and will be returning to Lotus Day Spa monthly for this service and possibly try others as well. She agreed that the professional attitude and easy-going nature of the owner made the experience pleasant,quick and best of all inexpensive. A bikini wax is $35 and a brazilian $50. We were both finished within a 1/2 hour.
