From polyester, fitted tennis jackets to simple-patterned men's work shirts, Crown Clothing does the vintage look well. For women, carefully designed skirts and tops exude high-fashion attitude. Outerwear is an emphasis, with a range of light and medium jackets to fit the cool SoCal climate. Though the pricing is a bit erratic--men's shirts are about $50 and some jackets are $70, while a skirt might cost double--most items are nevertheless within the means of even the most budget-minded young shoppers.
