Mirage Salon and Spa was highly recommended by a friend and is only a short 35 or so minute drive from where I live in Sacramento so I decided to visit. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the overall atmosphere and super pampering I received when having my "spa day" . The salon decor is absolutely gorgeous and as I've now visited several times, have noticed that it changes with the seasons and is always fresh and interesting. They have a terrific choice of various body services, wet room with Vischy shower, and importantly, a private spa area separate from the rest of the salon that you can relax in your robe in between services. They are also very flexible in creating whatever type of day you'd like by recommending and customizing services that may not be on the standard menu. Tthey also have a dry sauna that you can take advantage of prior to your special services if you'd like and I found it very beneficial to use prior to my massage. Food and beverages were offered throughout my day there and all the spa service providers were very informed on the services they were providing and made me feel comfortable and relaxed, even during treatments where I had very little on :) I would definitely recommend this not only for a personal day, but they have a great area for a "girls day" and since they offer couple's massage and many men's services, I'll be going back with my special person.
