Businiess name:  Tacos & Burritos El Ranchito
Review by:  Geri H.
Review content:
I don't usually talk in absolutes, but this place is the BEST. I categorically state you will not taste better Mexican food anywhere. ANYWHERE. And where is this place? A hole in the wall tucked in next to a huge supermarket in Highland, Indiana! Everything is absolutely fresh, exquisitely seasoned and cooked to perfection. No ambiance, no atmosphere, no pretensions -- nothing but terrific food, quickly and cheerfully prepared, inexpensively priced. Tables are a bit crowded (they do more carry-out then dine-in, it looks,) decor is bare-bones, and I wish they had a liquor license (or at least a Coke machine -- they're a Pepsi place.) But their carnitas is simply wonderful, their quesadillas toasted to perfection, their pastor is so good I dream about it -- and a bonus for harried housewives: knowing El Ranchito is there, your husband and kids'll start asking if they can come along to carry packages and help with the grocery shopping when you head to Ultra.
