Never have I experienced such relaxation and pampering as I did today. I treated myself and my two daughters, one 23 and the other 15. My older one is in grad school and extremely stressed with finals, etc. My younger one is a freshman in high school and stressed from finals, new school, etc. We were 15 minutes late. Wouldn't you know we hit every traffic light, every stop sign and on top of that, there was a town tag sale and traffic was literally at a standstill. I thought when we got there late there would be attitude for being late. Of course, we all have cell phones, did one of us bring them? No. We could not even call to say we were running late. I walked in, explained the situation. I cannot say enough about how we were treated and pampered. They treated us the same way a person 15 minutes early would have been treated. Nothing was rushed, in fact, just the opposite. I cannot stress enough how relaxed I came out of there being, and I only opted for the manicure/pedicure. One daughter go a massage and the other a facial. We then proceeded to the "Relaxation Room", a beautiful dim-lit room with plush chair to relax in and that is just what we did. One girl came in, not to say our time was up to ask when we would like her to come back to get us. It was the most relaxing day I have ever had. Nevermind NYC spas, this beats them all.
