Review content:
Thursday night is supposed to be celeb night, but all we saw were plebs in this crowded, noisy restaurant. At 6PM, we called to make a reservation for 8PM that night, but the receptionist could only offer us a table in "the small room." While it's a cozy, quiet room in the back, it's also SIBERIA. If you've come to people watch, you'll miss all the action. The tiny bar was three deep, and we ordered delicious peach martiniis until we could be seated. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long. Too bad the food was forgetable. The beet salad was tasteless, and the raspberry tart was ho-hum. Only the juicy baby rack of lamb was remarkable.
Trendier restaurants with better food abound, so skip this one unless you're desperate to catch a glimpse of co-owner, Robert De Niro.
Pros: Yummy Peach Martiniis, A Scene, Robert De Niro
Cons: Too Loud, So-So Food, Unskilled Hostess
