My Honey and I went to Vt to take a vacation, have a good time, heal and relax. We are from NY. I myself am an integrated acupuncturist who spends many hours working on other people. So, when I go to get worked on, communication, energy, and the quality of the practitioner and the surroundings are all very important part of my healing process. The outside of this establishment is a little unassuming but once inside your are greeted by a comfortable ambiance. I agree with one reviewer that the receptionist could have been a little more friendly but thankfully she was not the individual who was going to be treating me. Shortly after I was asked to have a seat ( in a comfortable area supplied with fresh water, good coffee, and Dove chocolates) I was greeted by a friendly woman who was to be my healer. I had Five Elements Signature Spa Treatment. This included a 15-minute steam session, a choice of aromatherapy massage oil, a purifying thermal mud wrap, followed by a full-body massage. All of this was done competently with the aplomb and care of an experienced practitioner. After my bodywork, suffering from some minor facial skin issues, I decided to also have a microdermabrasion peel. The process left my skin looking healthier. The technician was friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend this spa if you are looking to help your body heal.
