My back yard was blighted and had been for many years. In this midst of crumbling cement and overgrown ivy was a cavernous, swamp-like pool. It was hideous and I was completely embarrassed to have anyone see it. I knew of Garocco Pools but I dared never call or go into the office on Green St. Instead I visited the website and drove by, looking longingly into the office for years. As Summer approached this year, I decided to stop window shopping and as I scanned the website, I called the number. I never expected a return call after I confessed how much my budget was.
An hour or two later, Mitchell Jenson called me back. He was warm and genuine and reassured me that Garocco works with projects of all sizes and budgets. When he drove up to my home to give me an estimate, Mitch didn’t seem to see my ragged, rusty gates and the eyesore that was my back yard. If he did, he didn’t react. Instead, he got into the pool to take a closer look. (I was momentarily concerned that a swamp creature would arise from the depths and attack him.)
Mitch in person is as warm and genuine as he was on the phone. Actually, he was better. Mitch is amazing – honest, competent, dedicated, knowledgeable, professional and he’s 24 years old. What an amazing young man! I thought he’d change on me and turn into a Contractor that was going to gouge me. Instead, he told me what he would do, how much it would cost and he set about doing just that.
Today, I have an amazing Garocco Pool and back yard. It has changed the quality of my life. When I come home, I go straight to the pool and marvel that I’ve been such a great gift. I just wish I hadn’t waited so long.
If you’re out there and you’re on the fence about whether this is something you want to do, don’t. Call Garocco and ask for Mitch. Have him come out and give you an estimate. Then go for it!
