Review content:
I needed to have a tub and shower hooked up to the water supply and drain. That's it. The tub was in place and so was the shower pan. Steve came out and gave me an estimate for $7000. Yes, you read that correctly--seven THOUSAND dollars. The estimate didn't show any hours; just the nice round number of $7000. When I got over the shock, I called another plumber. He did the work in about five hours and I paid him $700 for time, materials and sales tax. And yes, he was a licensed plumber. As for Steve's estimate, I can't figure out if it was a bad joke, or if he would milk the job so that it would have taken two weeks, or if he charges $1400 per hour. Bottom line, stay away unless you have lots of money and want to subsidize Steve.
