Several years ago I had a friend who ordered her wedding cake and all of her flowers for her wedding from Cake and Flower Shoppe. She was so pleased and the prices were extremely resonable.
It seems, though, that since those days they have changed their menu and policies. While planning a Christmas party I contacted them about making individual cakes for my guests and they quoted me a price that was 4 times as much as the quote I recieved from another local bakery.
Later when I asked to order flower leis for another party, they refused to even quote me a price over the phone and I therefore went with another service.
Cake and Flower shoppe is a local fixture and I still continue to check them out when making party plans, but I don't think I'll check with them many more times without more positive results.
