Review content:
It's a great place if you already have a girfriend or you're under 21. Oops. The female bartenders are 80's has-beens and don't know it. Someone should tell them that hot is hot. And Mervyn's is hiring. Just pour the drinks and stop drooling in them.
Other than that I had a great time watching the off-duty cops hang out, drink for free, pay attention to the pathetic bartender, and then call in everyone's plates who leave.
So, have a great time at McGovern's in San Mateo. The cops are the big out of shape guys in the corner watching you!!!
p.s. I just love their accents there. Oh, and if you want to buy stuff there's a bartender there that sells them. Just ask for ASA
Pros: There is alcohol there if you need to stiop on a long journey
Cons: Many many
