Review content:
I have been a frequent visitor to the Village Day Spa, I normally book my weekly massage every Friday. When I walk into the VDS, I literally feel the stress of New York City rolling off my back. Depending on which room you are in you will feel the trian rolling by every 1/2 hr or so, however, my personal experience is that after the first 10 minutes of being enraptured in the warm blanket and aroma therpy and after having sipped a wonderful cup of herbal tea I am off to another place, far away fromt he husle of New York City. I must admit, the only drawback is the stairs which can feel like climbing a small mountain at the end of the day. Nevertheless, the VDS is a great place to spend the afternoon hours, book a three or four hour retreat and then afterwards enjoy one of the many great resturants in Bronxville and maybe catch a movie afterwards. After my massage and facial I meet my husband for dinner then head home take a hot shower and crawl up in my p.j's with a nice glass of wine in front of the fireplace. What a better way to de-stress and say hello weekend!
