Review content:
The Holy Family Shrine was built a few years ago and is affiliated with the Archdiocese of Omaha but one does not have to be Catholic to enjoy the beauty and splendor of this place. On a clear day the sun will shine thru the etching (which is above the altar) creating a glorious reflection. The statues' eyes look almost human bearing great compassion. It's worth a trip out to see the architecture and spend some time enjoying the scenary as it overlooks the Platte River Valley. Also, there is a visitor's center where people can learn the story behind the shrine or relax in the sunroom. The shrine actually plans on expanding which will make it even more retreat like.
