Review content:
I purchased my VW through another dealer before D'Ambrosio VW opened. I was very excited when they did open because they were close to my home. Initially, they had an incredible service manager and I was thrilled with their service. Unfortunately, she is no longer there and their service department has suffered because of this.
Recently I had warranty work done on my car. They were unable to complete the work on the initial appointment since parts were needed that were not in stock. I picked up the car and was told they would call when the part was in. Although they completed some work, I did not receive a receipt. After a few business days without a call I called them to get an update. There was no record of service on my vehicle or my parts being ordered. Their service department actually transferred me around until I found someone in parts who took responsibility and found a way to help me. (I really appreciate his help after 30 minutes of this.) I brought the car in to complete the service and again received no receipt. A little more than a month later, I have the same issue again and will be scheduling at another dealer to get this corrected,
Prior to writing this review I completed an online survey from them regarding my service. Since I indicated I was unhappy with the service I received an auto-generated email stating that I would receive a call from them to discuss. After a week, I emailed the Service Director of the auto group and I still received no response. I feel like I gave them every opportunity to address my concerns prior to writing a bad review.
I strongly suggest finding another dealer to service your VW.
