Dr. Janice Cain at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center is hands down the best vet I've ever seen... and I've seen a lot!
She is extremely knowledgeable... a reproductive specialist as well as a board certified internal medicine specialist. She has been practicing for about 25 years. She is extremely personable, easy to talk to, and answers all my questions without making me feel like I'm an idiot or that I'm taking up precious time or doubting her judgment.
Her grasp of veterinary medicine is outstanding... during our first visit, she recognized and addressed medical issues that my dog was having. (Before her, I had spent months of traveling to other general veterinarians who couldn't find out what were the problems.)
Her assistant Kristen (sp?) is outstanding as well. The staff at the hospital is very friendly.
Although this hospital is an hour drive from where I live on the western end of the peninsula in the Bay Area, it is worth every second of my time and every penny of my money.
