Review content:
Having eaten at every incarnation of Ray's Boathouse over its history, I had been disappointed a couple times over the past 3 or 4 years. The fish was always the best prepared in town, but the rest of the plate, especially the vegetables, left something to be desired. How pleased we were last night to take friends from the Midwest to Ray's on a beautiful evening to have a splendid dinner in every regard. The menu is greatly improved, and all the food was perfectly prepared and nicely presented. And, as always, the pace was relaxed, and we felt free to stay and talk and enjoy as long as we wanted. Hooray for Ray's! We'll be back often.
