If you're in the area and enjoy cruising, be sure to check out the Lake George Steamboat Company. They operate several steamboat cruises and tours of Lake George, which last for anywhere from 1 hour to a whole day. Some cruises even include lunch! My family went on the Lac du Saint Sacrement; we had so much fun! There was a decent lunch (cost extra, we paid $25.75 for adults which included a chocolate ganache for dessert, an onboard souvenir shop and snack bar, and even a dance floor with a live musician. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the Locomotion and to "Hot, Hot Hot." So come check this place out! Just be prepared to pay a tidy sum for the fun experience.
All the ships have nice balconies, which allow for beautiful views (and many photo opportunities!) of Lake George.
