Review content:
I walked in the store expecting to spend a good bit on a really nice suit. I'm doing graduation interviews so I don't want to look awkward.
I told one of the salespersons straight up, show me your nice threads, my budget is 500, and he said sorry, our most expensive suits are 200 bucks. Haha ok.
He estimated my size and had me try on one of the jackets to make sure. He was nice, Then he left me to browse, which was nice. I take it they don't work for commission...
They had a lot to choose from, all kinds, including a few horrendous plaid geezer getups (although, I'm sure it woulda looked sharp 50 years ago).
I tried a nice conservative-looking solid navy blue one, and I decided to buy it. It was crisp and fit good. It was $200, but the manufacturer suggested price on it was something like $520, and it was what I was looking for. Getting the pants hemmed was $10. Also got a rather expensive-looking silk tie for $15.
The only thing I would say they could improve on is that their tailoring area is right by the suits, so there is tailoring debris/fluff/strings/etc that get everywhere. Not a huge deal, but I spent a good bit of time brushing off the suits before inspecting them.
Overall I'm glad that I came here. If I had went to the mall or something I'd probably out the full 500 bucks for basically the same thing.
Pros: Very good prices on suits, no pressure from salesmen
Cons: Not the cleanest store on the block
