My experience at Integrative Massage Center in Chico was wonderful! The clinic was easy to find and had a welcoming feeling. The owner, Mary Collins, has created a wonderful atmosphere complete with her original artwork and hand picked relaxing music. The minute I walked into the center, I felt better than I had in a while. My gift certificate entitled me to a 50 minute massage but upon my check in I was offered an extension of it, or an addition of hot rocks, integrative work etc. I opted for a longer session and I was happy I did. Mary paces her massage by listening to you and your body. She was very astute to the needs of my body without me having to say much. I liked the way she guided me through consciously releasing my tensions... ahh, it felt so good. I never felt the least bit uncomfortable about talking to her, she is open and welcoming in personality. She followed my lead and would be quiet if I was, or interactive if I spoke. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I hope to get back soon to experience a body polish and possibly a hot rocks massage. It was a completely positive and healing experience for me!
