Review content:
The Brewster Ice Arena is a great facility for skating. The rinks are huge and the arena itself is spacious. It is a great way to spend the afternoon with kids. However, I don't recommend having your child's birthday party there. We had my daughter's there and I wasn't happy with it. First of all you get a "party room", which is actually a dismal locker room which isn't heated. It was cold and dark and not nice at all. Then they provide a party "assistant" but she did absolutely nothing. All she did was bring the pizza down from the restaurant. She didn't help serve, she just left after she delivered the pizza. I had to do all the cleaning up, which is fine but they include a 20% tip for the attendant and that 20% is based on the entire party, not just the food. So the party turned out to be much more expensive and really wasn't worth it. I recommend finding a different place for a birthday party.
