Homesick New Yorkers (and deli lovers everywhere), look no further: A great corned beef sandwich is available right in Washington's own back yard. At Brooklyn's Deli, owner Guy Brandt has done his best to replicate New York's most famous sandwich, the Corned Beef on Rye ($7.99). He cooks his own corned beef, slices it to order and then prepares a sandwich sure to satisfy. Try it with a side of house-made slaw and some of the best pickles south of the Lower East Side.
