I have been a customer at Eclipse Sunless Tanning for the past three years, and up until about a month ago, I would have echoed all of the amazing reviews. I used their versaspa spray on tan machine 2-3 times a month during that time. The staff was wonderful, remembered me by name, and were always ready to help. A little over a month ago all of the staff I had grown accustomed to were replaced by a new crew without explanation. The new employees are beyond rude. Last Friday I went in for a spray tan, and the machine was only spraying air and no tanning solution. I went out and told them and they told me to wait in the room while they remedied the issue. No problem. It was not their fault the machine was being temperamental. However, after waiting 20 minutes for them to fix it, when I got in the machine it proceed to splatter me with the dye instead of evenly distributing it. I tried to rub it in, and when I went out I told them about it and went on my way. I understood the problem, although they did not seem all that interested in fixing it. After going home, I had to take a shower and rinse off the spotted mess so it had been a total waste of time. This afternoon, I went back to get my much needed spray tan. This time only one of the nozzles worked. Once again I went out and told the woman. Instead of being helpful, she accused me of lying saying no one else had experienced an issue with it today so she did not believe me. I was shocked. It was quite obvious I only had dye on one side of my body. She told me to go back in the room while they checked it. Her tone was like she was sending a naughty child to sit in time out. I could not believe she was speaking to me like that so I went into the waiting room for a moment, and then I finally realized I did not have to be treated like that. I just told them to credit the session back to my account which they begrudgingly did and left. I proceeded to go to another tanning place down the street and they gladly fixed the mess for me. I have multiple sessions left on my Elipse Sunless Tanning account, but I am tempted not to go back. What used to be a wonderful business has been completely destroyed by their rude staff.
