I've used A & R Gutters in Fort Lauderdale for 2 years.
It's been raining heavily lately (thanks 95L in the Gulf) and I needed to address some flooding issues around my property. I called A & R Gutters on a Tuesday (after 4pm), left a message (it's common they don't answer while out in the field working). I received a call the next morning (Wed., at 10am) and Andy was at my home within the hour. Andy walked the property with me, discussed the issues at hand and provided options and an estimate within minutes (less than 30 min. from start to finish). I scheduled the work to be done that Friday.
The price is ALWAYS VERY GOOD and I feel the same way about the work.
If others didn't find the work to their satisfaction, they should have mentioned that to A & R, who would likely remedy the issue as they put everything they plan to do in writing anyway. My estimate is CRYSTAL CLEAR regarding the description of work to be done (including illustrations with measurements and specific colors requested). If they don't meet those expectations, I won't pay until the work reflects what is outlined in the contract. CERTAINLY I wouldn't pay until damages (IF they were A & R's fault) were fixed and it would be deducted from the bill.
In two years, I've never had to deal with anything remotely like that with A & R Gutters; they're a solid operation.
I am a homemaker and they were referred to me by my contractor 2 years ago.
I can't help but wonder why the other reviewer didn't mention the names of the other gutter companies who didn't show up...that would have been helpful in a review.
