Businiess name:  Iris Garden Cafe
Review by:  Sheila C.
Review content:
Iris Garden Cafe is a small cubby hole of a restaurant in downtown Chattanooga. Unfortunately, it is located next to a shoe shop, that can get noisy at times. This cafe will likely appeal more to buffet lovers, since they offer both a small soup and salad bar and buffet, that usually offers one meat dish and several home style vegetables, and bread. The quality of the food bar can be inconsistent at time. One day a week is usually devoted to breakfast items, that will not appeal to some lunch guests. The prices are moderate at $4.99 for salad bar only, and $5.99 for the food bar. They also have a limited menu for those who wish to order a la carte. While Iris Garden Cafe offers a little bit of a change from some of the fast food restaurants in the area, the inconsistent quality of the food is a bit of a drawback, although the limited salad bar is always an option. It's a little small and off the beaten path, and although not my favorite downtown eatery, I occasionally find it a nice change of pace.
