I was VERY disappointed with Sweet Divas. I made a reservation approx. 2 weeks in advance. The person took down my name & phone number when I called to reserve; however, when I arrived there yesterday, they said my name was not on the list. Then the lady went to the back and didn't come back out for about 10 minutes. Once she came out, she rudely said that the "cook" will fit us in, in 30 minutes, which would be 12:00. I would have understood if they were really busy; however, half of the place was empty and available with MANY seats and tables. And at 11:59, we asked if we will be seated soon, and the waitress replied, extremely RUDELY, "You'll be seated at 12:00!" And as she walked away, she rolled her eyes and shook her head. I was appalled at the lack of friendly service. It was HORRIBLE!! We left and there were no apologies made by the people there. I will never be going there again, and have shared this story with many of my friends already, who have told me they will never be going there, as well. And they will be sharing this with their friends.
The thought of ... "are these people discriminating based on race?" crossed my mind. Hopefully this is not the issue.. but, that is how we felt that day.
If one is in a business such as this, shouldn't they be polite? It is a SERVICE business....
I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you are looking for good service and friendly faces, I suggest you go elsewhere. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
