Review content:
First of all, Aktec is very competent technologically. But they're a bit scatterbrained too.
I brought in my tower because of a virus... they did a great job of backing up my files and then reformating the hard drive, eliminating the virus.
But when I got the tower back, I realized that they forgot to put my files back on. So I brought the tower back... they still had the backup disk, they just forgot about it.
So back home I went. Next day I realized that I didn't have word, excel, or anything. They had wiped MS office! So back I go with the tower, the put it back on there, and I go home.
They didn't charge anything for my 2 return visits and did apologize, but it was still time out of my day.
