Review content:
My massage was good, but the service was a bit mediocre. When I first called, I was warned about canceling my appointment by the receptionist, and upon giving my credit card information, was really put off by the idea that they don't trust their customers. As someone mentioned below, accidents happen, and at times, it's not our fault and I don't feel people should be penalized should they be put in a situation where they have to be charged for missing an appointment due to an emergency. I didn't miss my appointment, I am just very turned off by the fact that I had to give my credit card information to the receptionist "just in case". Many salons do not have such a policy yet they're still successful, if not more successful than this spa. To me, being satisfied with the experience at a spa is not only concluded by if I was satisfied with the massage, but it's the over all attitude and demeanor of the service, which I didn't feel was anything special. I've had better massages, at better spas, with way better service. The receptionists were attentive but a bit curt and unapproachable, but I'm sensing it was because I seemed young. This place is run by older women and it seems like that's their clientele as well, which is not a negative thing at all. Just different. My pedicure, however was excellent. The woman that did my pedicure was very kind, polite, gentle, and definitely helped to make my experience relaxing. That's still not enough to make me come back though, sorry!
